Hello and welcome to UMO Taper Guidelines!

Please read through the guidelines for taping the show below:

First and foremost, we want to encourage you to tape your experience of the show.

There will be a table with a power supply set up for you to use if necessary. It will likely be next to the Front of House console, but if you don’t see it there, just look around — it will be clearly marked. That’s where you can set up your recording gear or leave it if you’d like to put it down for a while.

Please note that outs from the FOH board will not be available and we will not be providing mics. So anything you want to use, come prepared. Other than the table and power supply, we’re leaving you to be in your own recording zone.

There will be absolutely no access to the band or backstage with your pass. Please also note there will be limited interaction with crew. Kindly don’t ask them to help with your setup — they’ll be busy with regular run-of-show duties. We’re trying to run the night as usual so that everybody can give their best performance.

Lastly, enjoy the show! And please respect the space of all the fans there to do the same.

We won’t be asking for tapes at the end of the night — those recordings belong to you. If you digitize them you can upload them to https://archive.org/create.php?lma=1. We’d really love to hear what you capture.
